Set The Bar

Waitlist privacy notice

A short notice for the Set The Bar waitlist only. The app has its own Privacy Policy.

Version 2026-10-waitlist-4 · 18 October 2026

Who we are

Set The Bar is run by Michael Coen, a sole trader trading as Set The Bar, of Lavally, Ballintogher, Co. Sligo, F91 Y1Y5, Ireland. We decide what happens to the information below (we're its "controller" under the GDPR). Questions about it: support@yousetthebar.com.

The waitlist is for people aged 16 and over.

What we keep

We don't use analytics on this website, and its fonts and videos come from the site itself. One cookie, from Meta, is optional and stays off unless you accept it in the cookie banner (see Who else handles it).

To stop the form being abused, each sign-up counts against a limit for your internet (IP) address. That counter is deleted after about a day and is never linked to your email.

Why

Who else handles it

Supabase, Mailjet, Google and Cloudflare act only on our instructions. We never sell the list or share it with anyone, Meta included.

How long we keep it

Until you leave the waitlist. Every email we send has a link to leave, and leaving deletes your address straight away. If the app never launches, we delete the whole list.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, have it corrected or deleted, or withdraw your consent, by emailing support@yousetthebar.com. To change your mind about Meta's cookie, use Cookie settings at the bottom of the website. If you're unhappy with how we've handled it, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie) or, if you live in Northern Ireland, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes

If this notice changes in a way that matters, we'll email you before it applies.
