Community guidelines
Version 2026-10-18 · Effective 18 October 2026
Set The Bar is about training outdoors and pushing each other to get better. These guidelines keep it fair and safe. Breaking them can get content removed, results reset, or an account suspended.
Be honest
- Log Compete sets live, in the app, yourself. No edited videos, replays, faked locations or modified apps.
- Don't log sets for someone else, or let someone else log for you.
- Report a set you believe is fake, and let the moderators decide. Don't accuse people publicly.
Be respectful
- No harassment, threats, hate or bullying, in profiles, bios or anywhere else.
- Kudos is for encouragement. Don't use it to target people.
- Respect other people at the spot. Share the bars, and give way to children in playgrounds.
Protect people's privacy
- Never share where someone else is, or when they train. That includes check-ins they haven't made public.
- Point the camera at yourself, not at other people. If someone walks into frame, that's fine: a Compete video is only seen by you and our moderators.
- Don't post photos showing people who haven't agreed, and never post photos of children.
Keep spots accurate and safe
- Add spots that really have outdoor bars, at the right location.
- Describe equipment honestly. If equipment is broken or unsafe, tell us with Suggest an edit on the spot's page, so others are warned.
- Spot photos should show the equipment and surroundings, not people. No nudity, gore or anything offensive.
Report and block
Report and Block are coming to the app. Until then, email support@yousetthebar.com about anything that breaks these guidelines.
Use Report on any set, spot, photo or profile that breaks these guidelines. Use Block to stop someone seeing your activity or interacting with you. Reports are confidential: the person reported isn't told who reported them.
What happens when guidelines are broken
Depending on how serious it is, we may remove content, reset results or records, limit features, or suspend or close the account. Where it's safe to, we'll tell the person why, and they can ask for the decision to be reviewed by contacting support@yousetthebar.com.
